At Diplomat, we are committed to ensuring your orders reach you safely, reliably, and on time. Please read our Shipping Policy to understand how deliveries are managed across India.
1. Delivery Coverage, Timelines & Charges

We currently ship only within India.

Free ground shippingis available on all prepaid orders.

Standard delivery timelines: 3–6 business days, depending on your location.
2. Shipping Partners

We use a leading shipping aggregator to automatically assign the best courier for your pin code.

Our primary partners include Bluedart and Delhivery.
3. Post-Order Changes
Once the package has been picked up by the courier:

Edits to address or contact details are not possible.

Courier staff contact details cannot be shared; all communication happens via the courier’s official customer support.
4. Unserviceable Locations
If your pin code is not serviceable, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund.
5. Dispatch & Holidays

Sundays and public holidaysare excluded from dispatch and delivery timelines.

Orders placed on these days will be processed on the next working day.
6. Incorrect Customer Details

Orders cannot be dispatched with incorrect or incomplete shipping details.

Our team will attempt to contact you, but dispatch will be delayed until corrections are made.
7. Time-Sensitive Deliveries

90% of orders are delivered within the standard timeline.

In rare cases, a delay of 1–2 extra days may occur.

For urgent travel-related needs, please place an order only with sufficient buffer time.
8. Delivery Attempts

Couriers will make up to 3 delivery attempts:

First attempt within the committed timeline.

Two more attempts in the next 1–2 days if unsuccessful.

After 3 failed attempts, the package will be returned to our warehouse, and the order will be cancelled.
9. Self-Pickup Option
If home/office delivery is inconvenient, you may self-collect your order from our Kolkata warehouse. Please email us after placing your order to confirm.
10. Delivery Timings

Deliveries are usually made between 10 AM – 6 PM.

Exact delivery slots cannot be scheduled as courier routes are pre-planned.

The delivery executive may call before arriving.

You will receive SMS/Email updates at each stage:

12. Air Shipping (Express Delivery)

Available on request at an additional cost.

Overnight air delivery ensures arrival within 2 business days in most locations.

Advance bank transfer payment is required before dispatch.
13. Gift Orders
For gifting, please:

Enter the recipient’s address as shipping details.

Enter your own contact details for alerts and updates.

Email us that it’s a gift so we can exclude invoices and price tags.

Choose a prepaid payment method (COD not available for gifts).
14. No “Try & Buy” Service

Couriers deliver sealed packages only.
-
They cannot open packages for inspection before payment.

If you wish to return the item after delivery, a reverse pickup and refund will be arranged as per our Return Policy.
15. Jammu & Kashmir Deliveries

All deliveries to J&K are prepaid only.
-
COD is not availablein this region.
16. Local Mobile Number Recommended

Although international numbers can receive alerts, we strongly recommend a local Indian mobile number to ensure smooth coordination with delivery staff.
17. Package Seal & Security

Please do not accept delivery if the package seal is broken.
